Central location with everything within walking distance! The area seems to be mostly newly built, so there is some construction, but it's not a major issue. The apartment was spacious with a minimalist, clean design—plus, no carpets! (This seems to be a big thing for me; everything feels so much cleaner without carpets.) You’re given a key code for the main entrance and the room itself. Our room wasn't cleaned until right before the official check-in, and since there's no reception like in a traditional hotel, it's best to arrive at check-in time and not before.

Clean, comfortable, great view & the apartment had everything you need.

Proximity to restaurants etc. The view from the apartment was excellent. The apartment was reasonably well equipped, unless you intend to do some significant cooking. Surprisingly, it was quiet, despite being close to the bridge traffic (must be the triple glazing). We had an issue with the batteries in our door lock (which happens) but the staff were attentive and friendly.

The location of the apartments is ideal: Only 5min walk away from Storgata (Street), direct view from the balcony to Tromsdalstinden and the Fjord combined with direct connection to many islands / bridges. This location is a perfect ‚base camp‘ for skitouring combined with taking advantage of some really good restaurants and bars in the town. The reception is responsive, nice and friendly. The following some maybe helpful hints if you stay a bit longer: * Note/memorize the access codes carefully (eg entrance, apartment, garage) * If you stay longer for skitouring with a lot of material bring a foldable travel clothes rack with you. * Parking in the city can be challenging. If you want to avoid ‚yellow tickets‘ make use of the garage: fully/digital plate recognition (payment via rental car firm OR own payment via easypark app (install before!) you drive into the garage… , do not park at ‚Private Parking‘ spaces. * Do not throw your garbage into the waste baskets in the hallways as we‘ve seen many Chinese guests doing … This is stinky and disgusting for others and against the waste separation approach of the city. * Bring your own kitchentowel * yes, WLAN strength differs, so the recommended chromcasting approach does not work nicely. Use the installed steaming apps on the TV, login and logout when you‘re leaving.
